Enjoy a midsummer gathering that doesn’t revolve around spirits! This workshop is intergenerational friendly and a wonderful way to activate our effort-driven reward systems, naturally releasing dopamine and fostering connection by creating uniquely beautiful wet felted coaster sets together.

In this introductory workshop, Tiernee Schatz, an artist, maker, herbalist in training, and board certified art therapist will guide you through a simple wet felting technique followed by a gathering centered on enjoying each other’s company and the beauty that surrounds us while sipping herbal infused mocktails.

Located minutes away from Cedarburg’s vibrant downtown community at the restored Blacksmith Shop on the Wisconsin Quilt and Fiber Arts Museum Campus.

Workshop Schedule:

  • Part One: We will begin this workshop learning and employing a simple wet felting technique creating a set of 4 unique drink coasters!

  • Part Two: In the second part of this workshop we will enjoy an herbal mocktail together while our coasters dry in the sun.

You will be provided with all necessary materials for this workshop. However, you may want to bring a towel to transport your coasters home in the event they are still damp at the end of the workshop.

Workshop size is limited to 8 participants each session. Restrooms are available. Please note, this is not an ADA accessible location.
