What are your rates?

Blue Pines Counseling, LLC is a private pay boutique therapy service. Individual and art therapy sessions are $125 per 55 minute session. Couples counseling sessions are $170 per 55 minute session.

Credit, Debit, HSA accepted

We offer a good faith sliding scale of $75, $100, or $125 per session for children and young adults (up to age 25). If you qualify for our sliding scale, you will have an opportunity to choose the rate that works best for you during the time of intake paperwork.

How does payment work?

When you’re filling out paperwork prior to your first session, we will ask you for a credit, debit, or HSA card to be kept on file. It will be secured in our HIPAA compliant electronic health record and at the end of each session, your card will be billed for the agreed upon session fee. Privacy will be maintained via billing and will be billed as “Blue Pines”.

While we do not take insurance, it is possible to have a portion of your services paid for through your out-of-network outpatient mental health benefits. We are happy to support you in getting reimbursement from your insurance company by providing you with a Superbill.

A Superbill is a specialized invoice, which includes the procedure coding, diagnosis coding, and session dates your insurance carrier will need in order to reimburse you. We suggest calling your insurance company in advance to see if they cover out-of-network providers.

Making a commitment to your personal growth and self-knowledge is an investment with endless reward! Not only will you experience a deeper sense of purpose and meaning in your life, the skills you develop in therapy will serve you for years down the road.

We maintain a small caseloads. This allows us to focus our energies on YOU and your unique therapeutic journey. It also allows us to invest in our continued education and personal development, ensuring you get the expertise, support and attention you deserve.

At blue pines counseling, our providers are professionally trained and seek the highest credentials available to them in their fields of study.

our providers also engage actively in prevention and early intervention work with our satellite clinic at Sugar maple nature school.
